Eight future Tar Heels were in action over the weekend, looking to extend their season in their state's respective playoffs.

Here's this week's commit results for the UNC commits in the 2025 and 2026 class:

Class of 2025

Austin Alexander - Cooper HS (KY) cruised to a 56-15 victory over Southwestern HS (KY) in the third round of the KHSAA playoffs.

Bryce Baker - In the second round of the NCHSAA Playoffs, Baker and East Forsyth HS (NC) defeated rival West Forsyth HS (NC), 56-19.

STATS: Baker completed 21 of his 24 pass attempts for 334 yards and four touchdowns. On the ground, Baker rushed for 37 yards and a score on six carries.

Javion Butts - Jones County HS (GA) saw its season come to an end with 22-14 loss to Marist HS (GA) in the second round of GHSA Playoffs.

Evan Haynes - Fellowship Christian School (GA) advanced to the third round of the GHSA Playoffs, downing King's Ridge Christian, 35-7.

Julien Horton - Bel Air HS (MD) fell to Linganore HS (MD), 34-14, in the third round of the MPSSAA Playoffs.

Demon June Jr. - Jacksonville HS (NC) earned a 30-24 victory on the road against Williams HS (NC) in the second round of the NCHSAA Playoffs.

STATS: June Jr. rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.

Byron Nelson - Nelson and Katy HS (TX) earned a 10th consecutive win, defeating Cypress Falls HS (TX), 49-20, in the second round of the Texas Football State Championships.

Class of 2026

Zavion Griffin-Haynes- Rolesville HS (NC) secured a 45-8 win over Pinecrest HS (NC) in the second round of the NCHSAA Playoffs.
