North Carolina handed out its second offer of the day Monday night by extending to 5-star 2018 power forward Simisola Shittu, who attends Vermont Academy in Sexton River, VT.

Shittu is 6-9 and 220 pounds and also has offers from Louisville, Oregon, Syracuse, UCLA and many others.

UNC’s staff watched him play a great deal over the three live evaluation periods this month before making their minds up to extend the offer.

THI basketball recruiting analyst Clint Jackson saw this offer coming.

"Not a surprise here. Roy loves Shittu. He is an athletic power forward with grown man power and easy springs. Love the way that this kid is built," Jackson said. "He attacks the basket with his quickness and power and he is an accomplished, elite level rebounder."
