Talented rising sophomore WR fro Florida talks with THI about his recent offer from the Tar Heels.

Agiye Hall, a class of 2021 wide receiver from Armwood High School in Mango, FL, just had a week to remember seeing his first four offers come in respectively from Maryland, Rutgers, West Virginia and North Carolina.

That’s not a bad way to launch one’s recruitment, even if he has to hear about the offers from his coach at this stage in the process.

"I can't talk to coaches, since I'm a freshmen right now," he told THI. "My head coach presented me with the offers, not sure with coaches offered."

Hall, (6-1, 183 pounds), who just transferred from Durant H.S., was caught off guard from the early Tar Heels’ interest, but is thankful of the opportunity the Carolina staff has presented.

"I was very surprised and excited," he said. "I'm growing and people are starting to acknowledge my talents and them coming in early I will remember that."

The Heels may have struggled offensively last season, but Hall is well aware of the history of the Carolina up-tempo offense, which has set numerous program record during head coach Larry Fedora’s tenure.

"It's very good and fast and very organized, that's why they are very successful at passing the ball," he said. "They mentioned they like my size and speed."

As Hall is finishing up his freshmen year of high school, he is not taking anything for granted. He knows this is a long process and he’s only at the outset. Get better and learn about schools, that’s the lengthy mission as of now.

"I think I could do a lot better and improve more," he said." I learned that nothing is given to you, you have to earn it. Never stop improving and work until your limits and everything will turn out as you want it."

While he is still uncertain on whether he will get to Chapel Hill this summer, he does know a few visits that will take place.

"I will be attending some camps, I'm looking into Oregon and Alabama right now."
