Coleman Reich, a 3-star athlete in the class of 2019, committed to North Carolina on Saturday evening.

Reich, who attends Ledford Senior High School in High Point, NC, was offered in June after attending Fedora’s Freak Show. He was offered as a safety, but also plays wide receiver and on special teams as a punt and kickoff return man.

At 6-0, 185 pounds, Reich is also being courted by Clemson, N.C. State and Wake Forest, among others.

"Childhood dream coming true...," Reich told THI on Saturday evening.

"I called Coach Kap (Chris Kapilovic) before 'Meet The Heels' event and talked to him and Coach (Larry) Fedora over the phone. They were extremely excited as well."

Reich told THI he was hand-timed at 4.34 and 4.40 at the two camps he attended at UNC in June.

UNC was Reich’s first offer, and clearly he was in from day one.

"I've had my mind made up for a few weeks now just had been praying about it," he said.

Reich is the third commitment for UNC in the class of 2019 joining 4-star athlete/defensive end Hakeem Beamon and 3-star defensive back.

"I was recruited and offered as a Safety but they said other options are on the table due to my speed," he said."

Here is Deana's piece on Reich after he was offered in June.
