RALEIGH - North Carolina got some payback on N.C. State on Saturday, defeating the Wolfpack, 96-89, at PNC Arena courtesy of a 330-point, 17-rebound performance by Luke Maye,

Maye cored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the second half and the tar Heels overcame a 19-0 State run in the first half to earn the victory.

UNC improved to 19-7 overall and 8-5 in the ACC< State dropped to 16-9 and 6-6.
