RALEIGH – North Carolina won its second consecutive road game to kick of ACC play by taking care of N.C. State, 90-82, on Tuesday night at PNC Arena.
Three Tar Heels registered double-doubles, outrebounded the Wolfpack 51-33, and didn’t have Cam Johnson over the final 11:56 of the game.
Twelfth-ranked UNC improved to 12-3 overall and 2-0 in the ACC while No. 15 State dropped to 13-2 and 1-1.
