January was a big month on the recruiting trail for Bill Belichick and the North Carolina coaching staff. The Tar Heels extended over 160 offers in the year's first month, ranging from the senior class in 2025 to the class of 2028.

UNC secured 14 commitments, including four from the state of California and nine from both the 2025 class.
