BOILING SPRINGS, NC - Class of 2024 wide receiver Javarius Green will be making his college selection on the August 18 which is opening night for the 2023 high school football season in North Carolina. The 5-foot-11, 192-pounder that plays for the tradition-rich Crest Chargers has three schools that are at the top of his list.

Green has listed Alabama, Michigan State, and North Carolina as his finalists. He will commit some time Friday afternoon before their big game with South Carolina powerhouse Gaffney High School.

Last season for the Chargers, he caught 61 passes for 1,267 yards with 18 touchdowns. Green also excelled on special teams as he returned 13 kickoffs for 240 yards and 23 punts for 251 yards with 3 touchdowns.

Green was in Chapel Hill Saturday for the Tar Heels' big recruiting event that featured a cookout. He spoke to THI about that trip to Chapel Hill and his upcoming decision.
