ATLANTA – Hubert Davis said it himself.
He didn’t mince words. He didn’t pause to think of the best way to answer the last question of his press conference Saturday like he did many of the others.
He was clear and definitive, to borrow one of his oft-used series of word choices.
“No, we did not.”
That’s how he first responded when asked if he thought his team brought enough physicality to its 87-83 loss to Kentucky in the CBS Sports Classic at State Farm Arena. And UNC’s third-year coach was spot on.
