North Carolina’s basketball team is getting a break this week, as the Tar Heels have no mid-week game and don’t play again until Saturday.

So, in today’s Daily Drop, we discuss the importance of the open period, it’s timing, and why UNC Coach Hybert Davis says it’s a good time for this break and what he plans on doing with the Heels having a week between games.
