Jaydon Young became the newest Tar Heel on Friday. The 6-foot-4 guard from Goldsboro, NC, spent two seasons at Virginia Tech before making the announcement.

The transfer portal can move quickly, and both exits and entrances can come out of left field. However, those that know the rising junior are not surprised at all by the move once he got the opportunity.
