A point of emphasis for North Carolina not often discussed is the importance of sudden-change defense.

When the Tar Heels turn over the ball, which has happened four times this season, or allow an onside kick recovered by the opponent, which has happened once, those are sudden-change situations when they defense must immediately go back out onto the field, often defending a shorter distance to the goal line than usual.

In today’s Daily Drop, sponsored by Underdog Fantasy, we explore the reasons and tell you the impressive stats.
