North Carolina heads to Charlotte on Wednesday to face No. 7 Oklahoma in the Jumpman Invitational at Spectrum Center in its next-to-last non-ACC game of the regular season.

The Tar Heels have lost consecutive games to UConn and Kentucky on neutral floorsandare7-3 overall. The Sooners are 10-0 and own wins over Iowa, USC, Providence, and Arkansas.

In today’s Daily Drop, we discuss the importance of this game for UNC, and how a win will significantly enhance the Tar Heels’ NCAA resume. Carolina fans don’t want a repeat of last year, and winning this game will go a long way in the Heels avoiding that.
