North Carolina’s quest for landing a quarterback in the class of 2026 is in full swing, as the staff offered four kids this past week, each from the state of Florida.

Among them is Dia Bell, a 4-star prospect who is also the son of former NBA star Raja Bell, was one of the signal callers in the class extended an offer by Hall of Fame coach Mack Brown and offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Chip Lindsey.

Utilizing his connections on the recruiting trail from the Sunshine State, Lindsey offered 6-foot-5, 185-pound pro-style Brady Hart of Cocoa (11 offers), Will Griffin, a 6-foot-3, 220-pounder of Tampa, FL (11 offers), and Bell, a 6-foot-1, 179-pounder of American Heritage in Plantation High School, an elite program in the Miami area.

One of them has the chance to follow a tradition of excellence behind Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell and the outgoing Drake Maye, who will be a top NFL draft pick next spring.

Bell is currently ranked the No. 31 overall prospect in the class of 2026.

Some of his other offers are from Auburn, Florida, BYU, Miami, Penn State, and West Virginia.
