Redshirt freshman QB Logan Byrd has been granted his release and will transfer from UNC.

Byrd, 6’2 225lb quarterback was a 4-star prospect from Kathleen, Georgia. He sat out his first year due to redshirt and didn’t get into a game this past season. He did, however, serve as the team’s primary scout team QB most of the time.
