ATLANTA – North Carolina didn’t have enough go well against Kentucky on Saturday in the CBS Sports Classic, and lost, 87-83, at State Farm Arena.

UNC led for just 16 seconds on the night, yet had a chance to tie the game at the end of regulation, but messed up the called set, and lost.

RJ Davis scored 27 points and led the Heels with seven rebounds. Cormac Ryan scored 20 points.

UNC fell to 7-3 while UK improved to 8-2.
