ATLANTA – North Carolina dropped an 87-83 decision to Kentucky on Saturday as part of the CBS Sports Classic at State Farm Arena.

RJ Davis led the Tar Heels with 27 points, Cormac Ryan had 20, and Harrison Ingram chipped in 10 points as the team’s only double-figure scorers.

UNC fell to 7-3 while UK improved to 8-2.
