North Carolina has offered 5-star 2019 power forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, who attends Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, KS.

"Yes, it did. I was very excited,” Robinson-Earl told THI. “Coach (Roy) Williams called me and just felt that he had seen me play enough to know that I would thrive in his program."

The No. 16 overall player in the class, UNC joins Kansas, Virginia, UCLA, Louisville and Arizona, among many others, who have now offered Robinson-Earl.

Rivals.com national recruiting analyst Eric Bossi recently acknowledged Robinson-Earl as the best rebounder at the Dallas sites during the first open evaluation period in April. UNC Coach Roy Williams watched Robinson-Earl an awful lot that weekend, as it began to appear an offer was indeed coming.

THI basketball recruiting analyst Rob Jones has seen Robinson-Earl in person multiple times.

“Robinson-Earl is one of the most offensively efficient post players I've had a chance to evaluate,” Jones said. “He's a kid that at the end of the game may only have 12 shot attempts but when you add in a couple of free throws, he ends up with 20 points. Much of this is attributed to his ability to finish so well with both hands.

“He's an extremely active player around the glass and has a very quick release on put-backs off the offensive rebound. He always has that high-motor going.

“Offensively, when you combine his level of activity and his mid-range shooting touch, JRE can put up points in a variety of ways; baseline cuts to the basket, elbow jumpers, 1-2 dribble post moves over either shoulder or short corner jumpers.”

Robinson-Earl's father, Lester Earl, played three seasons for Williams at Kansas from 1997-2000.
