The Tar Heels played just one game this week, but it was a huge one and a major victory at Virginia, as they ended an eight-game, 12-year losing streak to the Wahoos at John Paul Jones Arena, and did so many things that are championship-worthy.

UNC won, 54-44, while converting just six shots in the second half, but the team’s brawn, defense, and fight drove them to the victory.

Carolina is now 21-6 overall and 13-3 in the ACC. It has a quick turnaround, as the Heels host Miami on Monday night.
