THI caught up with 4-star running back and West Virginia commit Leddie Brown following his visit to Florida this weekend for its Friday Night Lights event, which is their version of Fedoras Freak Show.

Brown had a good time in Gainesville and was impressed with what he saw in his first visit to UF, so much that he left having the Gators now No. 2 in his pecking order following West Virginia, obviously.

But the Tar Heels aren't far behind though.

BROWN'S THOUGHTS ON UNC

"North Carolina is a great program with a great group of coaches."

"I have a lot of love for UNC."

As for his visit in August: "I want to see how the coaches there interact with me and how I will be used in the offense."

WHAT'S NEXT?

Brown is set to visit North Carolina sometime in August and will then line up his official visits. He said wants to see how the coaches at UNC interact with him and how they envision using him in the offense.

THI'S TAKE

We believe two schools have a chance at flipping Brown, and that’s Florida and UNC. What bodes well for the Heels is that he will visit in August and then set up an official, so that should mean at least two more visits. It also helps that Chapel Hill is much closer to his home in Smyrna, DE. At this time, we believe UNC has the best chance at flipping this excellent prospect.
