A Closer Look: Northern Kentucky

The holidays are among us, but the North Carolina Tar Heels are back from Christmas break and ready to get back in action. UNC welcomes Northern Kentucky to Chapel Hill Friday night, as they will look to be a bit more dominant than their last 4-7 opponent, Davidson.
The Tar Heels are coming off a 98-85 overtime victory last week over the in-state Wildcats, as J.P. Tokoto recorded a double double, while Marcus Paige scored double figures in overtime.

The Tar Heels have at times played down to their opponent's level this season of course, but Roy Williams will send his team back into battle liking nothing more than to see his team play well and pick up a dominating victory.
Lets take a closer look at Northern Kentucky, as the Tar Heels welcome them to the Dean Dome Friday night.
