This past week was one of the most important in all of grassroots basketball. It was the shoe circuit championship week. Nike EYBL hosted perhaps the granddaddy of them all with the Peach Jam in North Augusta, SC. Adidas 3SSB boasted a monster group of talent as well in Rock Hill, SC, while Under Armour Next held its biggest tournament in Cartersville, GA.
It was also a live recruiting week where college coaches could get out and watch the players perform. Hubert Davis and his staff were at all three stops watching every player they have offered, and many more who are being evaluated.
