Bullock questionable for UVa

North Carolina may not have the services of freshman wing Reggie Bullock for Saturday's Atlantic Coast Conference opener at Virginia.
Bullock's beloved maternal grandmother, Patricia Williams, passed away this morning in Kinston (N.C.).

"We don't know about the availability of Reggie tomorrow. Reggie's grandmother passed away this morning," said UNC head coach Roy Williams during Friday's press conference. "He (Bullock) lived with her for a long, long time."
Bullock left this morning to return home and the Tar Heels likely won't know his status until close to game time Saturday.
"He's back in Kinston. He left here at 9:45 this morning," Williams said. "He was not at practice today (Friday)."
"You'll know (whether or not he'll play) at game time. There's not going to be any announcement or anything whatsoever. "If he's there at game time he'll play, and if he's not there at game time, that's what it will be," Williams added.
Although Williams didn't know a great deal about Mrs. Williams' illness, he indicated that Bullock has made a few trips home in recent months to visit her.
"We don't have a lot of information. She has been very, very sick for quite a while, and we've been very concerned about it," Williams said. "He's made at least two or three trips this year back to just check on her in the hospital or out of the hospital."
