Carolina Leads the Nation in NBA Alumni in 01-02

Fourteen former Tar Heels were listed on opening-day NBA rosters, more than any other school in the nation. Carolina has led all NCAA programs in NBA alumni in each of the last several seasons.
This fall, Arizona is second behind UNC with 11 NBA players. The Wildcats are followed by Kentucky and Duke with 10 each, Michigan State with nine and Cincinnati, UCLA, Georgia Tech, UConn and Michigan with eight each.

In addition, nine former Tar Heels currently serve as scouts, coaches and administrators for NBA teams.
