It's a big week for the history of North Carolina's basketball program, as Tyler Hansbrough has his No. 50 jersey officially retired at the Smith Center Wednesday night, and then on Friday night the program hosts its 100-year anniversary Alumni Game, which will feature many greats from UNC's basketball past.

Celebrate the rich and proud history of Tar Heel basketball by ordering your copy of 'Jerseys in the Rafters 2,' an extensive documentary feature profiling each of the men whose names and jerseys have been either honored or retired by UNC.
The new 'Jerseys in the Rafters' features several players not previously profiled on the original documentary, including 2005 NCAA champions Sean May, Raymond Felton, and Rashad McCants, along with 2009 NCAA champions Hansbrough, Wayne Ellington, and Ty Lawson.
The documentary also features 1993 Final Four MVP Donald Williams, whose jersey will be honored later this season.
'Jerseys in the Rafters' takes viewers all the way back to the early years of Carolina basketball and honorees such as Jack Cobb, a member of the 1924 Helms Foundation 'National Champions' back in the days before basketball players wore numbers.
From there, the production shifts into old footage from Woollen Gymnasium of 1940s-era stars such as George Glamack, Jim Jordan, and John 'Hook' Dillon, and then into the 1950s and early 1960s-era stars of the Frank McGuire era such as Pete Brennan, Tommy Kearns, Doug Moe, York Larese, Larry Brown, and the legendary Lennie Rosenbluth.
From there you're taken into the expansive Dean Smith era and the many stars who donned the UNC colors under his watchful eye, including Billy Cunningham, Larry Miller, Charles Scott, Bob Lewis, Dennis Wuycik, Bill Chamberlain, Bob McAdoo, Bobby Jones, Walter Davis, Mitch Kupchak, Tommy LaGarde, Phil Ford, Mike O' Koren, Al Wood, Sam Perkins, James Worthy, Michael Jordan, Brad Daugherty, Kenny Smith, J.R. Reid, Eric Montross, Donald Williams, Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace, Vince Carter, and Antwan Jamison.
The documentary concludes with the modern era and the UNC stars under Bill Guthridge, Matt Doherty, and Roy Williams, including Brendon Haywood, Joseph Forte, and the most recent additions from the 2005 and 2009 NCAA championship teams.
In addition to the individual profiles on each of the 'honored' or 'retired' jerseys, 'Jerseys in the Rafters' features a special 'bonus' segment on Coach Smith, along with special features with interviews with former Tar Heel greats about what it means to have their jersey floating high along the rafters in the Smith Center.
From Woollen Gymnasium to Carmichael Auditorium to the Smith Center, 'Jerseys in the Rafters 2' is one of the most comprehensive and highlight-packed features of North Carolina basketball ever created into a single production.
It's over an hour and 45 minutes of rare archival footage, interviews, and analysis, including the 'Voice of the Tar Heels' Woody Durham providing some of his more famous radio calls.
In honor of this important week in the history of Carolina basketball, the producers of the film are offering five dollars off the original purchase price of 'Jerseys in the Rafters 2.'
