On Monday, North Carolina defensive coordinator Gene Chizik met with the media in advance of the Tar Heels’ bowl game next week versus West Virginia. And among the things Chizik was asked about was the defense’s performance late this season, if he deserves a chance to come back for next year, and if he wants to be back.
