Dunn, Styles Remain Committed After Williams' Retirement
For any new basketball coach, there are certain phases of the recruiting process that must be addressed. At the top of the list is re-recruiting the current roster. Next comes the future players who have already signed their National Letter of Intent.
Whoever takes the reins after Roy Williams' retirement will immediately try to secure the services of D'Marco Dunn and Dontrez Styles, who signed last November during the Early Signing Period.
Tar Heel Illustrated spoke with each player on Friday afternoon roughly 24 after Coach Williams' announcement. Each one spoke about their feelings for the legendary coach, how they found out, and discussed their future plans:
