High School football is in full gear this season, as throughout the country, recruits will be looking to make a name for themselves on Friday night as they continue their dream to play in college.
Tar Heel Illustrated has been tracking these recruits, as several 2014 North Carolina recruits are playing Friday night. Here is a chance for you, the fans, to see where the next Tar Heels will be playing this Friday night.

Elijah Hood - Charlotte Catholic (5-2)
Oct 18: @ South Mecklenburg
- Charlotte Catholic and Hood took care of business against future Tar Heel Robert Dinkins and Olympic, winning 55-21. Hood has over 1,400 yards on the season so far.
Cameron Albright - North Cobb (5-1)
Oct 18: vs McEachern (Powder Springs, GA)
- North Cobb had to duke one out, closer than they have in the three games before, as they were able to take home a road victory over Hillgrove 27-17.
Josh Allen - University Christian School (4-2)
Oct 18: @ Harvest Community (Jacksonville, FL)
- University Christian was able to force their third shutout of the season, defeating Duval Charter 49-0 two weeks ago.
Allen Artis - Wheeler (2-4)
Oct 18: @ Walton (Marietta, GA)
- After winning their first two games, Wheeler has been on a four game losing streak, as they had a tough 2 point loss to Roswell two weeks ago, 21-19.
Tajze Battle - Dunbar (4-2)
Oct 18: @ Cape Coral (Cape Coral, FL)
- Dunbar is on a four game winning streak and now have two straight shutouts against their opponents, defeating Cypress Lake 47-0 last week.
Cayson Collins - Berry Academy (1-6)
Oct 18: @Harding University (Charlotte, NC)
- Again and again, Berry has struggled this season to stop anyone on defense, but Collins has been the highlight of the defense, having over 100 tackles on the season already. Berry lost to Bentley Spain/ Austin Proehl and Providence 24-14.
Ayden Bonilla - Etowah (6-0)
Oct 18: @ Cherokee (Canton, GA)
- Etowah continued their winning ways and stay undefeated, defeating Milton 24-15.
Robert Dinkins - Olympic (3-1)
Oct 18: @ West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
- Robert Dinkins suffered their second loss on the season, after winning four in a row, to fellow Tar Heel Elijah Hood and Charlotte Catholic, losing 55-21 last week.
Malik Carney - T.C. Williams (4-2)
Oct 18: @ Lee (Springfield, VA)
- T.C. Williams suffered their first home loss of the season last week against South County, in a 44-37 loss, where Carney had over 236 yards on the ground and two touchdowns.
Caleb Henderson - Lake Braddock (6-0)
Oct 18: West Springfield (Springfield, VA)
- Lake Braddock had their third straight shutout, as Henderson and company took control of the game, winning 50-0 over Woodson
Caleb Samuel - First Presbyterian Day (3-3)
Oct 18: Hancock Central (Sparta, GA)
- After falling to 1-3 on the season, First Presbyterian has been able to even up their record ont eh season, with two road victories. The latest was against Twiggs County, winning 48-13.
Jeremiah Clarke - T.C Williams (4-2)
Oct 18: @ Lee (Springfield, VA)
- T.C. Williams suffered their first home loss of the season last week against South County, in a 44-37 loss
Tyler Powell - Cosby (5-2)
Oct 18: @Manchester (Midlothian, VA)
- Cosby has been able to put the team together, after losing their first two games by a touchdown each, they have reeled off 5 straight wins, with the latest coming against James River 31-14.
Marvin Stewart - Yorktown (5-1)
Oct 18: Wakefield (Arlington, VA)
- Another hard fought victory for Yorktown, as they were able to win for the second time in three games by single digits, as they took down Hayfield 19-14.
Tyrell Tomlin - Marietta (4-2)
Oct 18: @ Campbell
- After getting a much needed break, Tomlin and company took down Kennesaw Mountain last week 49-31.
Austin Proehl - Providence (4-3)
Oct 18: @ Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)
- Providence has been able to get back to a winning record, defeating Cayson Collins and Berry 24-14. Proehl has 700 yards on the season so far.
Freeman Jones - Bunn (4-3)
Oct 18: Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC)
- After a 1-3 start on the season, Bunn and Freeman Jones have been getting hot at the right time, winning their last three. Last week, Bunn defeated Southern Vance 41-12.
Brandon Fritts - Mentor (6-1)
Oct 18: @ Solon (Solon, OH)
- This Mentor team has had no problem scoring the ball in their wins this season, averaging over 42 points per game. Fritts has 341 on the season so far and five touchdowns.
Josh Cabrera - Northside (4-3)
Oct 18: Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC)
- Northside certainly has had their ups and downs this year, but got the hard fought win last week on the road against East Duplin 28-21 last week.
Avery Edwards - Ravenscroft (4-4)
Oct 18: North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC)
- Ravenscroft has been on a scoring streak lately, as they have scored 111 points in the last two games. Last week, they got the easy win over Wake Christian Academy 50-22.
Bentley Spain - Providence (4-3)
Oct 18: @ Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)
- Providence has been able to get back to a winning record, defeating Cayson Collins and Berry 24-14.
Throughout the season, Tar Heel Illustrated will give the fans information about where the future Tar Heels might be playing in the upcoming weeks and updates about how each team is doing week in and week out.
