Heels unanimous choice to repeat
At the Atlantic Coast Conference's 'Operation Basketball' in Atlanta this weekend, the media unanimously chose North Carolina as its preseason favorite to win its third straight league title.
Per the ACC's official website (TheACC.com), the Tar Heels received all 40 of the first place votes.

3. Wake Forest
4. Miami
5. Clemson
6. Virginia Tech
7. Maryland
8. Georgia Tech
9. N.C. State

In addition, UNC senior forward Tyler Hansbrough was unanimously selected as the Preseason ACC Player of the Year.
Hansbrough is joined on the Preseason All-ACC first-team by teammate Ty Lawson, the media's choice as the league's top point guard.
