RALEIGH – The semifinals of the John Wall Holiday Invitational on Thursday night pitted future North Carolina forward Day’Ron Sharpe and South Central High School versus 2021 standout point guard Carter Whitt and Leesville Road High School.

Sharpe, a 2020 prospect who is committed to play for Roy Williams, led his team to a 68-45 victory scoring 14 points and pulling down 21 rebounds. Whitt, who is being looked at by UNC and holds an offer, from among other programs, from Virginia, finished with 15 points and 3 assists.
