CHAPEL HILL --- University of North Carolina senior tailback Ryan Houston underwent successful surgery Thursday to repair the broken right scapula (shoulder blade) he injured last Saturday during the annual spring football game.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Jeffrey Spang and Dr. Alex Creighton at UNC Hospitals.
Houston is expected to return to action in approximately four months.
