Through the first 35 minutes of North Carolina’s game versus Pittsburgh on Saturday night, the Tar Heels allowed Panthers quarterback Kedon Slovis to play above the norm and trailed by 10 points.
But as the offense responded with a touchdown drive, and continued scoring, the defense rose up and blanked the Panthers the rest of the way, as UNC closed strong in a 42-24 victory at Kenan Stadium.
