Jahvaree Ritzie & Mother Discuss His Commitment To UNC

KERNERSVILLE, NC – New North Carolina commitment Jahvaree Ritzie and his mother answered questions Friday evening after the 4-star defensive end announced he will play football for the Tar Heels.

Ritzie, who attends Glenn High School in Kernersville, made the announcement at his family’s home and afterward he and his mother fielded questions about the decision.

Ritzie is the 16th member of UNC’s class of 2021, the 14th from North Carolina. He’s also the seventh 4-star prospect to pop for Mack Brown’s program in this class. UNC’s overall class ranking is No. 7 in the nation.
