CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina defeated Michigan, 86-71, on Wednesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at the Smith Center, as the Tar Heels bounced back from Sunday’s ugly loss to Michigan State in Portland.
THI caught up with several Tar Heels to discuss their performance, which included them shooting 54.8 percent from the floor (46.7 percent from 3-point range), assisting on 24 of 34 field goals, and outrebounding the Wolverines 37-31.
UNC improved to 6-1 on the season while Michigan dropped to 6-2.
