SYRACUSE, NY - North Carolina won its sixth consecutive game Wednesday night by defeating Syracuse, 78-74, at the Carrier Dome.

Theo Pinson scored a career-high 23 points while also grabbing 6 rebounds and handing out 7 assists. Joel Berry added 19. UNC also assisted on 25 of its 29 field goals.

UNC improved to 22-7 overall and 11-5 in the ACC. Syracuse dropped to 18-10 and 7-8.
