CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina defeated No. 4 Gonzaga, 103-90, on Saturday night at the Smith Center on a night both teams shot better than 50 percent from the floor.

But the No. 12 Tar Heels also made more than half of their 3-point attempts and outscored the Zags on second-chance points 27-0.

UNC improved to 8-2 while Gonzaga dropped to 8-2.
