CHICAGO – North Carolina never got it going on either end of the floor Saturday in falling 80-72 to Kentucky at United Center as part of the annual CBS Sports Classic.
The Tar Heels struggled from the floor, converting just 42.2 percent of their shots, including 7-20 (35.o) from 3-point range. They were outrebounded by 1o and turned over the ball 17 times.
Carolina dropped to 8-3 on the season while UK improved to 9-2.
