CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina used a 42-11 run spanning both halves to overcome and pull away from Davidson on Saturday at the Smith Center leading to an 82-60 victory.
Five Tar Heels scored in double figures, they held Davidson to 29.9 percent shooting from the field, including 26 percent from 3-point range, and outrebounded the Wildcats 49-33 in the victory.
The No. 14 Tar Heels improved 9-3 on the season while the Wildcats dropped to 9-4/
