CHAPEL HILL – Five Tar Heels scored in double figures and North Carolina forced 22 turnovers while limiting Harvard to 38.9 percent shooting in a 77-57 victory over the Crimson on Wednesday night at the Smith Center.
UNC shot just 41.9 percent and only outrebounded Harvard by four, but a 22-3 run in the second half gave Carolina the separation it needed to earn the victory.
UNC improved to 10-3 while Harvard dropped to 6-6.
