LOUISVILLE – North Carolina exacted revenge at Louisville on Saturday, leaving the KFC Yum! Center with a 79-69 victory three weeks after losing to the Cardinals by 21 points at the Smith Center.

Carolina shot 42.9 percent from the floor, including only 25 percent from 3-point range, but held the Cardinals t 41.9 percent, including 34.9 percent from beyond the arc. UNC also outrebounded Louisville 49-32 after being outrebounded by nine in Chapel Hill.

Ninth-ranked UNC improved to 17-4 overall and 7-1 in the ACC, which includes a 5-0 road record in league play. Louisville dropped to 16-6 overall and 7-2 in the ACC.
