CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina played another game that went down to the wire, but the Tar Heels fell short Saturday night, losing to Virginia, 38-31, at Kenan Stadium.

Carolina dropped to 4-5 overall and 3-3 in the ACC while the Cavaliers improved to 6-3 and 4-2.
