Locker Room Report: Pitt Beats UNC

PITTSBURGH, PA - North Carolina overcame a large halftime deficit before falling in overtime, 30-23, at No. 21 Pittsburgh on Thursday night at Heinz Field.

UNC trailed 17-0 and 23-7 at halftime before sending the game into overtime with a field goal with 57 seconds left in regulation. But Pitt scored a touchdown on its possession in overtime and UNC did not.

Sam Howell completed 22 of 33 passes for 296 yards with two touchdowns and ran for a score.

The Tar Heels dropped to 5-5 overall and 3-4 in the ACC while Pittsburgh improves to 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the ACC
