Marshall a no-go for Kansas

ST. LOUIS--- If North Carolina is to move past Kansas Sunday afternoon in the Midwest Regional Final and into next weekend's Final Four in New Orleans, they'll have to do it without sophomore All-ACC point guard Kendall Marshall.

A UNC official confirmed in the press room at approximately 2:45 pm central time (3:45 pm eastern), that Marshall has been ruled out against the Jayhawks, and he won't dress for today's game.

Freshman Stilman White will make his second career start against the Jayhawks.
Marshall practiced with the Tar Heels on Saturday for the first time since breaking the scaphoid bone in his right wrist last Sunday in UNC's Round of 32 triumph over Creighton in Greensboro.
Marshall also participated in Sunday morning's workout with the team, but it was determined that he still wasn't quite ready to return to game action.
The Tar Heels take on the Jayhawks looking to advance to the Final Four for the fourth time in the last eight seasons, and for the third time in the last five seasons.
