Marshall Out, White to Start

ST. LOUIS--- A UNC official confirmed Friday evening that sophomore point guard Kendall Marshall won't play against Ohio in the Midwest Regional Semifinal. Freshman Stilman White will be making his first career start in Marshall's place.
Marshall, a second-team All-ACC selection and a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award, suffered a fractured scaphoid bone in his right wrist last Sunday during Carolina's victory over Creighton in the Round of 32 at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Marshall had surgery on Monday to correct the injury, and he hasn't practiced since.
