Moten Not Favoring Anyone

National Christian Academy (MD) Josh Moten is a ball-hawking corner with an extremely high ceiling. The sophomore sensation has already established himself as a special play-maker, and programs are quickly taking notice.

“I believe I am the best corner in the class of 2020. I’m ready to show the world.” Moten told THI.

With over 18 FBS offers to date, Moten says he has always had a profound love for The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He acknowledges the family-oriented atmosphere as well as how UNC handles their student athletes.

“UNC has always been known to be a great college town as well as having an excellent fan base. The community as well as university always show love for the student-athletes.” Moten explained.

Moten, who is 6-1, 167 pounds, has yet to visit Chapel Hill yet, however, he knows exactly what he wants to take away from the visit. That interview can be found below:

Which Coach extended the offer?

“Coach JP (John Papuchis) came and offered me. He told my coach he likes me and believes I can fit in their defense very early. I haven’t got the chance to talk to him personally yet due to my classification. However, he will talk to my Coach and the message would get relayed to me.”

Do you plan on visiting UNC any time soon?

“Yes, I plan on visiting this April to see some of their spring practices. I’m ready to experience their great college atmosphere as well as see how the DB’s compete at the next level.”

Do you have any other upcoming visits?

“I’ve already visited Virginia Tech. I hope to visit Michigan, Syracuse, Clemson, Rutgers, and South Carolina. I haven’t decided if I’m going to camp at any yet.”

Have you already made an early list of favorites? If so, where does UNC fall on the list?

“I haven’t thought about my list yet. I’m just taking small steps right now, but I really love UNC and the love they show they’re athletes. Plus they have a great fan base there.”
