Parklands Bines wins 3-A Mr. Football
Jed "Tank" Bines, a junior from Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, was selected as the 2001 Mr. NCHSAA 3-A Football award winner on Dec. 13th.
Bines has rushed for state-leading 2,994 yards and 32 touchdowns prior to tonight's playoff game.

Bines received 13 of a possible 21 first-place votes.
The top three runners-up for the award were Southern Durham's Jo'Relle Deleston, Shelby Crest's Brandon Boone, and Bertie's Jejuan Rankins.
