North Carolina gets back into things Wednesday night as the Tar Heels host Pittsburgh for their first game in eight days.
UNC last played January 24, a night it won at Syracuse, the team’s fourth consecutive victory and tenth in its last 12 contests. Carolina is 15-6 overall, including 7-3 in the ACC.
Jeff Capel’s team has won four of their last five and stand at 15-7 overall and 8-3 in the ACC. The Panthers have won nine of 12, and own a win over UNC a month ago, as the Panthers overcame a nine-point deficit midway through the second half to earn a victory.
