CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina Coach Roy Williams met with the media following his team’s 70-67 victory over Yale on Monday night at the Smith Center.

With the win, Williams tied UNC legend and his mentor, Dean Smith, with 879 career victories. The Tar Heels improved to 8-5 on the season and have concluded the nonconference portion of their schedule.
