North Carolina opens its 2022 football season Saturday night when Florida A&M visits Kenan Stadium for an 8 PM kickoff.

The Tar Heels are coming off a 6-7 season that led to UNC Coach Mack Brown making a change atop the defense, brining in Gene Chizik, who was his defensive coordinator when they won a national championship together at Texas in 2005.
