CORAL GABLES, FL – North Carolina Basketball Coach Hubert Davis met with the media following his team’s 75-72 victory over Miami on Saturday at Watsco Center.

The Tar Heels trailed by a point at the half, but used an 18-4 run in the second half to build a 12-point lead, yet couldn’t sustain it. Miami cut the margin to two with a minute left, but the Tar Heels held on.

RJ Davis scored 25 points and Elliot Cadeau had a career-high 18 for UNC.

UNC improved to 19-5 overall and 11-2 in the ACC.
